peeked thru the trees, Krys stood up and just
started walking. Her mind in a daze, her body on fire,
she walked thru the swamp, holding her dog. Not sure
at all where she was heading, the truth be known,
she felt so bad she really didn't care. Hours
past and still no sight of the keep and her friends.
Sweat poured from her body, but still she kept going.
She came upon a tree she swore she had seen
before.Dropping Othello to the ground, Krys went down on her
knees. Leaning against the tree, she closed her eyes and
just sat there cursing her luck. Othello began to
bark wildly. " Boy please,my head ,,, stop it".
Krys would have been very surprised to know just what
the dog was barking at. Not 100 yards from where she
sat, was the very keep she sought. Othello moved
closer to the keep, his barking getting louder, for he
seemed to sense Krys' condition and knew in his way that
she was in need of help. The dog continued his racket
until a guard peeked up from the walls of the keep.
Jumping around, the little dog started to head in Krys'
direction. As he made he is to her side, Krys looked up and
over at him. The keep within her view. Slowly she
tried to rise, but didn't quite make it up. "Thank
you boy", she whispered to Othello. Taking a deep
breath, Krys yelled as best she could, " HEY,OVER
HERE,,,,, I NEED HELP,,,,,,PLEASE!!"....
