the guard on top of her, Sophie squirmed and
pushed at the dead body trying desperately to get away
from it. Finally she managed to wiggle free,
slowly coming to her feet. Looking up back to the man at
the door, her eyes bright blue from her tears, she
smiled at him. She saw another man coming to her,
one she had never seen before. Waving him off,she
knew he wasn't going to harm her as he came the the
group now fighting the guards inside. She looked back
once more at the man standing at the door. Blowing him
a kiss, she turned and ran for the
trees. Stopping behind a thick oak, she watched the goings on at
the house. She knew they had come to help that nice
lady the butcher was with. Although she had only
gotten to speak to her a few seconds before they took
her off to the room, Sophie knew she the lady just
didn't belong there, nor did she. She had prayed hard
for someone to come help them, as she had done for
the past two months. He may have taken his time about
it, but he finally answered them. Looking back
towards the house, she hoped the other girls could escape
there unharmed as well....
